Over the weekend in Garland, Texas, developer 3D Realms had its Christmas Party. According to the developer community manager Joe Siegler, the celebrations were like many previous events, full of mirth and merriment and (presumably) freely flowing beverages.

Spoilers of the narrative variety, that is. There’s actually a plot in this game, following a character named Reaper. He had his colony wiped out by a fearsome alien race known as the Necris, and he swears revenge.
