13 February 2007 - Square Enix have announced that the UK launch of Final Fantasy XII will take place at HMV Oxford Street amid much fanfare on February 23.
Fans who have been eagerly awaiting the next instalment in the award-winning franchise that has sold more than 70 million units worldwide, will get the opportunity to meet Akitoshi Kawazu and Hiroshi Minagawa, the executive producer and director of the game.

In addition, the first 100 people to buy the game at the event will be given an exclusive Moogle soft toy and a CD soundtrack featuring five songs from Final Fantasy XII. The following 200 people to buy the game will also receive the soundtrack.
The event runs from 12-2pm, but eager gamers can arrive early and pick up a wristband, available in store from 9am, 23rd February. Fans coming in costume run the chance of winning additional prizes.
If all that wasn’t enough, anyone attending the launch event can also enter a competition to win a trip for two to Japan with no purchase necessary.
